USAMBARA MOUNTAINS  

Usambara Mountain is a lush and green area which concentrates a great biodiversity a Tanzanian villages and tribes like the Sambaa, Kilindi, Zigua and Mbugu. This chain of mountains is divided into two sub-ranges, the East Usambara and the West Usambara. East Usambara have been compared to Galapagos Islands due to diversity of endemic species both flora and fauna. It's specialy famous as a bird-watching paradise. West Usambara is a great area to do hiking and mountain biking in the forest and visit old buildings from the German and British colonial period.
